-- Special Thanks to the many, many sites covering this event. LordoftheRingsGuide.com, Action-Figure.com, AFTimes.com, ADC, etc. --

The 2004 US Internation Toyfair in New York City promises to be the best Toyfair so far with respect to Lord of the Rings Collectibles. A Virtual Plethora of companies are aiming to jump on the bandwagon of succes that has been generated by this unprecedented trilogy. Why it has taken 3 years for some of these comapnies to see this is beyond us. At this year's Toy Fair, expect to see TONS of new items like 6" action figures, 12" Rotocast figures, Minimates, 3" figures and playsets, Deluxe Figures, 18" figures, Polystone statues, busts, environments, and perhaps even some highly-detailed electronic replicas from the new Master Replica's License! Stay tuned right here for the latest pieces of information and details with links to all the latest imagery! Here are some companies who will likely be presenting their Lord of the Rings wares at this year's show:

Toybiz: Based on reports from the UK Toy Fair, the Fall 2004 scheduled Deluxe Fell Beast was way underscaled. But since that item was a prototype, let's just hope that some changes are made to bring it into scale a bit more and make it a worthwhile addition to the line. Expect to see figures from the next couple waves Trilogy assortments including Elendil, Isildur, Balrog Damaged Gandalf, Armored Boromir, etc. Also expect to see the new Twist-Ems, 6" Multi-packs sets, perhaps a look at the Mouth of Sauron set to be included in the deluxe Gates of Mordor 5-pack. One question remains...will we see the Balrog Again? Perhaps the Mighty Flaming One will make a showing...in all likelihood he will remain a past cancelled figure, but we can at least hope for the next few hours anyway! Here is a breakdown of reporting sites and their coverage of Toybiz at the Show:
