JRX Toys Opens it Doors

With the information hitting the streets a bit earlier than expected, Jesper Regel decided to open his doors a bit early to dispell the rumors and bring to fans news that he is seeking your help in getting him noticed and employed at a Large U.S. Toy Company...and by the look of his stuff, his talent is unsurpassed and he should at least give him a look...

Prelude: Many of the visitors to The Green Dragon are very familiar with Jesper Regel's work. He has done a tremendous job repainting Lord of the Rings figures, sculpting added features to figures, and accmplishing completely new sculpts of some of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters. Feel free to read up (and LOOK AT) on his customs right HERE! Perhaps his finest accomplishment, or at least his most time consuming single endeavor, was featured right HERE as a Green Dragon Special Featurette on his superb Balrog Custom. Before the announcement of the NECA Balrog, thsi was perhaps the best Balrog figure on the planet...and may still be since we have yet to touch and feel the plastic that is the NECA Balrog. Over the course of the past 3+ years, Jesper Regel has worked and provided for his family, but now, he wants to follow his dream and live out his passion...sculpting and art...for anyone who will have him and allow him the freedom to express himself. So, without further ado, I would like to introduce the NEW Jesper Regel and his wonderful new site, called JRX Toys...go check it out NOW...

The Site: JRX Toys is a one stop shop for everythig Jesper Regel including his sculpts, artwork, photos, personal history, family history, and tons more. The PATH is a very cool...did you find it yet? His objective is to showcase his work and passion and the site does a wonderful job of that. The graphics are pleasant to look at and the information is OVERLOAD...tons of great imagery and if you are a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan...there are literally tons of cool stuff to find at JRX Toys. Did you find the very awsome Dead Warriors...look under the Head Sculpts section...SWEET!! If only Toybiz had someone like Jesper on their side with his passion for Lord of the Rings to develop new products and sculpt new characters for us to snatch up off the pegs at our local retail stores!!

The Toys: Over the past week or so, some of the images from Jesper's site, JRX Toys, were involuntarily lifted during a test run and were posted across the web. This prompted Jesper Regel to quickly finish up the site and get all the information added in short order and go live with JRX Toys. The first WAVE of his custom designs or "Cinemaniacs", as he likes to call them are below for your enjoyment with many more to come. The likenesses of some of the actors are so spot on, that you could swear you are seeing a LASER SCANNED image, when in fact, Jesper sculpted all of these from scratch. The likeness to Russell Crowe is impeccable...wouldn't you say?
