2003 US TOYFAIR

The 2003 US Toyfair has tons of coverage by tons of people. We will not attempt to provide additional coverage (at least not this year), but instead will provide links to all of the current Lord of the Rings covered topics by the various websites out there. Toybiz:

Well assortments 1 thru 4 are at least partially finallized for Return of the King 6" figures:

Asst 1: Witchking Ringwraith, Frodo (Orc Armor), Sam (Orc Armor), Eomer

Asst 2: Super Articulated Gollum, Aragorn with Anduril, Eowyn (Dernhelm), Gandalf the White

Asst 3: Prologue Bilbo, 8" Treebeard, Eowyn (TTT), Gollum (Smeagol)

Asst 4: King Aragorn, Pippin (Armor), King Theoden, Legolas

Best guesses at this point is that the Witchking will be a new version (perhaps the version that engages Dermhelm a.k.a. Eowyn). They show 2 different Eowyn figures. Hopefully these will be different, one armored in Dermhelm fashion and another in more feminine clothes for Faramir. Alot of stuff is missing, so hopefully details will comes out as times passes...perhaps the assortments will be more finalized around the San Dieago Comic Con (always have to look forward). I would expect Faramir, Gondorian Warriors, Denethor with Palantiri, another Saruman, another Grima, Paths of the Dead figures of Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and warriors. Perhaps another Eomer, Merry, SAURON...the list could go on. Follow the links below to get in depth coverage.
