Are You An EXTREME Collector?

Most people remember collecting toys in their youth, from Barbie dolls to action figures from famous movies. But for Jane Easterly of Galesburg the life of collecting is one she still leads. "I have always loved toys and I have always loved dolls," Easterly said. "Thankfully I had a wonderful mother who did not throw anything away."
It's quite clear that nothing has been tossed out since her childhood. Easterly's dining room is filled with Lord of the Rings and Star Trek paraphernalia. She points out specialized miniature toys of Lord of the Rings characters, small figures that are sold in chocolate eggs in Europe.
"The reason it's here is because Peter Jackson worked on it," she said of the dictionary. She has even met Jackson, the Oscar-winning director of Lord of the Rings, and the film series' star Elijah Wood. Easterly has signed photographs of her with Jackson and Wood hanging on her wall.
This article goes on and on about this EXTREME collection...if this is extreme...then some of our here are OUTRAGEOUS!!

It's interesting that people think this is extreme. Their use of the word 'exteme' seems to add a negative tone to the article, too.

Articles like these sort of turn me off a bit...they need to see Steve Sansweet's collection if they want to discuss extreme!
